Suction Side Issues:

· Clogged Strainer or Foot Valve: The intake filter is blocked by debris.

· Air Leaks: Cracks or loose connections in the suction hose pipe allowing air to enter.

· Insufficient Water Source: Water level is too low, or the source is depleted.

· Excessive Suction Head: The pump is placed too far above the water level, exceeding its lift capacity.

Pump Issues:

· Worn Impeller: The impeller is damaged or eroded, reducing its ability to move water.

· Clogged Impeller: Debris is trapped inside the pump casing, restricting the impeller.

· Damaged Mechanical Seal: A faulty seal allows air into the pump or causes water leakage.

Engine & Drive Issues:

· Low Engine RPM: The diesel engine is not running at its rated speed, reducing pump power.

· Worn or Slipping Drive Belt: On belt-driven models, the belt is not transferring full power.

Discharge Side Issues:

· Clogged Discharge Pipe: An obstruction in the output hose or pipe.

· Kinked or Pinched Hose: The output hose is bent, restricting flow.
